I'm flattered

Really, I am. Some kind soul decided to include me on a list of "Progressive or Democratic Pro-Life Bloggers". That's pretty cool and all, but the list seems so... short. Are we such an exclusive club that they could only find ten or so of us to list?

If that's the case, then we are, to put it most indelicately, fucked.

But anyways, it is flattering – seeing myself listed alongside Fr. Jake & Hugo and even that socialist Brandon. These are people who have nuanced and well-thought out positions, while I’m really just a smart-ass.

Also (and this is pretty cool) I see that Bill Samuel has a blog – Quaker bloggers of the world unite! I’d suggest this, but we’d probably spend the first three years deciding upon a suitable acronym. Even after jumping that hurdle, it wouldn’t be long before someone stepped on someone else’s theological toes, and the whole thing would collapse into a passive-aggressive litany of “Friend this” and “Friend that”. Definitely not worth the trouble.

Too cool. We're famous, dude. Let's go to hooters and celebrate.

But are the wings on the diet?

As long as we peel the skin off the chicken wings.

In other news, when are you going to make the switch over to 'http://www.romanes.us' for your posting.

I notice you've already got your Moveable Type up and running.

I'm going to now use a metaphor only a fellow recovering Montanan would understand...

"It's time to get the fucking plow out of the ground and get your ass in gear."

Love,
Brandon

Y'know, you guys make it REALLY HARD to email, I just wanna tell ya that.

Anyway, I just popped this over on badchristian as well, but in the sake of variety. Hi, I'm Mike, and I'm the one who did most of the searching. I recognize the list is small, but I figured that if we started identifying the folks who might be considered worth reading, a list would grow. Since pro-life progressives, pro-life Democrats and really Democrats and progressives who are just ambivalent on abortion usually feel kinda isolated, I expected that whatever blogs I could find would range all over the board, but I also think that's a good thing. I'll take any more names people wanna throw at me.
